I just finished
reading your last bulletin so thought I would write. I also just finished hauling in the last of my soybeans, which I
have been selling for the past 10 days.
I sold beans from about $4.05 to $4.12, which was the local high. Yesterday beans on the close were
$3.96. I felt pretty good when one of
the employees asked how I knew to sell when I did. Then he asked, “Do you think the high is in?” Hey, I don’t know that! What I do know and have learned from the
last few years with Gary Cram is…To sell when the basis narrows and during the
post harvest rally when there is one. I
took my LDP earlier, which was $1.37, so I feel pretty good. Like I have won at something. You helped make my year!!
